American Dreams

American Dreams is an anthropological tour through the landscape of the indigenous Central American -- in memory, spirituality, longing and isolation. It represents one of the more invisible chapters in America's recent history book. This series originated out of the desperate need I saw for the proper documentation of the many joys and sorrows in the daily lives of the migrants as they struggle for survival. It is my hope that this body of work will not only be considered a seminal contribution to the literature of concerned documentary photography, but more importantly, remind the American public and their politicians of the fundamental humanity shared between themselves and the immigrants.
